Noel Montoya (Founder LBO)
Noel was born in Matagalpa and has lived here his whole life. He is the proud owner of Artesanos Cafe/Bar (seen here in the background) which offers premium coffee, cappuchinos, and breakfast foods during the day, and transforms into a bar and live music venue at night. Noel was recently rewarded the ¨Entreprenuer of the Year¨ award by the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism for his work in promoting local coffee. Previously Noel has worked in Fair-Trade, in coffee production, and at his family´s farm in a town called Mulukuku which produces teak wood and milk.

Robert Frisch (Founder LBO)
Robert completed his 27 month stint with the Peace Corps in 2009. He worked with the local NGO "Fumdec" which provides business loans and technical assistance to women in rural communities surrounding Matagalpa. Robert also taught an entrepreneurship course at local highschools, and is a percussionist in the latin-jazz group "nota azul" which plays concerts in and around Matagalpa.
Robert studied International Relations and Music at the University of Pennsylvania and is originally from Maryland. Currently he is an student for MBA class of 2013 at Cornell University.

Deyanire Rizo
"Deya" is the Manager here at La Buena Onda. She is 28 years old and was born and raised in Matagalpa. Deya is a graduate of Hotel and Tourism Administration at the UNAN in Leon, and was previously the manager at a Spa called "Max Salon". She is a volleyball master and plays on a team here in Matagalpa.
Francisco
"Don Pancho" is in charge of security and the night-watch here at La Buena Onda. Don Pancho grew up in the country side outside of Matagalpa, notably in a mountain town called "Quirragua", and has also spent some time in the USA. He can be found watching late-night movies with the guests, and is always happy to open the front door at any time of the night if you choose to come back late to the hotel.
Lester
Lester is the newest addition to the team here at La Buena Onda. He is the evening recepcionist. He grew up in Matagalpa and studied Tourism at the University of Managua (UCA).. He is very friendly and heplful with our guests and visitors. He loves cooking, traveling and languages. He speaks english, french and a little bit of german.
Beatriz: "Bea" is our cook. She is always really early at the kitchen preparing breakfast to our guests. She likes to prepare granola, cookies, gallopinto and more.. but not bunny at the menú. She also has been working at Artesanos Bar and Restaurant.
Rosa Matamoros
"Doña Rosita" she is the housekeeper in La Buena Onda. She is 27 years old and is mother of two kids. She is a bit quiet but very gentile. She works monday to saturday cleaning carefully the hostel. You can find her cleaning rooms and greetings all guests.
Bertha:
Doña Bertha is the dominical housekeeper. she is as friendly as doña Rosita. They both work hard for keeping clean and tidy all the hostel. She is very cheerful and she has been working at la Buena Onda for almost a year.
Skarleth:
She is the sunday evening recepcionist. She was born and raised in Matagalpa. Currently she is studying her last year of college at UNAN Mayoring English. Las year she was an exchange student at Missouri (USA). She loves metting new people, reading, singing and teaching.
